Nancy O'Dell started her career in the broadcast industry as reporter for WPDE-TV, Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Then, she joined WCBD as a morning anchor and crime reporter. When she was in Charleston O'Dell's reporting regarding the police's lenient approach to DUI cases caused an State Law Enforcement Division investigation that led to state authorities re-issuing the strictest guidelines regarding these situations. It was reported that the Associated Press honored Ms. O'Dell by awarding her the Best Report of the Years Award in all South Carolina Media. Following her stint living in Charleston, O'Dell worked as an anchor co-host for NBC's Miami Station WTVJ-TV and also as an investigative journalist. She then was hired by Access Hollywood to work as a weekday and weekend correspondent. O'Dell, as well as being the anchor of Access Hollywood, also appears on NBC News Today as well Dateline NBC. She's been a reporter for The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted numerous pre-show arrivals show for The Emmys And The Golden Globes. In addition, she hosted for the Miss USA pageant and the Miss Universe pageant.
